Fado never sounded so enchanting.

Fado never sounded so enchanting.

. . .or click on the link here for Audio Player – Antonio Zambujo – In concert at La Cigale, Paris – January 23, 2015 – Radio France-FIP.

Further evidence of just how amazing the world of Music is, and how vast, is by running across this concert from just two days ago by the phenomenal Portuguese Fado singer/composer Antonio Zambujo.

Recorded at the famed La Cigale in Paris on January 23rd, Zambujo envelopes his audience in a blanket of luxuriant sound and virtuosity. And at 90 minutes, this concert goes by remarkably fast.

Really only around since 2004, Zambujo has already released some 7 albums and was recipient of the Amalia Rodriques Foundation Prize as Best male Fado singer.

He tours extensively. And luckily for us, he makes it over to the U.S. from time to time. He’s coming to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in March. Right now, he’s on tour throughout France and then over to his native Portugal. You really need to catch this amazing artist if you can and bookmark his homepage to see what he’s up to.

’nuff said – turn it up and enjoy.
